Riggy
A poseable character for introducing kids to animation technology.
Riggy is a poseable figure created to help kids understand the fundamentals of movement and animation. Inspired by stop-motion puppets and animation rigs, Riggy allows users to adjust joints and experiment with expression, balance, and gesture.
This early-stage prototype was designed to complement a digital animation curriculum and is built from basic 3D-printed forms with modular snap-fit joints. The project explores how physical tools can demystify creative technology and make abstract concepts more tangible for young learners.
